Benefit's Little Pots of Tints Posie Tint - Sun Beam & Cha Cha Tint ♥

| On :
The gorgeous magazine Ruevenue that is based in New York gave me an extremely amazing gift for Christmas! One of the presents included a box of little miniatures from Benefit! The mini's were Posie Tint, Sun Beam & Cha Cha Tint. I currently have the larger size of Cha Cha Tint so I will link the review for it here > Cha Cha Tint Review. I am mostly going to talk about the other two delicious tints!

Has you can see the packaging is just has gorgeous has the product itself. The bottles are colourful and eye-catching especially when it's summer and everything is bright! These shades are definitely made for spring and summer time hmm delicious. All the bottles have the same brush applicators that you simple dab onto your cheeks or wherever you want to apply it and blend it in with either your finger or a brush! I will talk about "Posie" Tint first. This is slightly pinky for me and really girly! However it makes a gorgeous base for when I wear peach/dark pink blushers.

Posie tint is very sheer when applied and so I would say it gives a natural blush to your cheeks if you wanted the natural makeup look, although it is build-able if you wanted it brighter and more coverage. With it being a natural, there is a lovely healthy glow finish to it especially in the summer I reckon. Do make sure you apply the smallest pea sized amount first then work with it has you go along because you might have a shock with it being bright pink (haha)! It is quite a creamy liquid which I do like about it because it really easy to blend considering it is a stain/tint. Even though it lasts ALL DAY, you do need a good makeup remover to take it off! Don't worry though it does come off quite easily if you give it a scrub.

My favourite out of the bunch has to be "Sunbeam". All the bottles are the same, they do look like nail varnishes but don't be confused haha! It is quite unique this highlighting shade, alot more gold than other highlighting products out there and that is why I am in love with it. Unlike most highlighting products where they are golds with cool undertones or champagne shades, SunBeam is definitely a warm golden shade with a hint of a yellow undertone, that is lovely on any skintone and wouldn't have any problems.

"Sun Beam" is really versatile, you can use it pretty much anywhere on your face haha! Cheek bones, brow bone, cupids bow, down the centre of your nose and even a little on your forehead to give you a lovely naturally radiant glow. I have been told but I haven't tried it personally but applying it down the centre of your shins gives the illusion of longer looking legs. Another tip with Sun Beam is mixing it with foundation to again turn it into a radiant dewy glowing finish! There is so much a little pot can do!

Illamasqua "Maneater" Lipstick & "Touch" Intense Lipgloss ♥

| On :
Well it's five days til' valentines, unless your reading this a few days before or even after valentines haha! Even so you need a goregous red in your makeup bag, I am a red lipstick lover and maybe I would call it an obsession. Always on the hunt to find that perfect red and I think I have found my true love that will definitely be spending time on my lips on valentines and throughout the year too! Illamasqua have certainly impressed me with there matching lipgloss too that I couldn't resist, so thank you!

I'll talk about the lipstick first after all that is the first thing you apply. Maneater, sounds quite daring and unique! This red shade will definitely attract because it is gorgeous. It is definitely your traditional classic cherry lipstick. Red shades are very important to me especially with my olive skin tone!

When the Illasmasqua lady swatched it on my hand, I instantly fell in love and couldn't be anymore happier with the shade. It is a matte finish which I have totally happy with when it's red. The pigment is insane in a good way. It applies so easily and doesn't drag your lips with it being matte. Course matte lipsticks are going to be slightly dry when applying however it is just that little bit creamy to make it easier to glide on.

I may of mentioned before but I suffer from dry flaky lips every now and again, so matte lipsticks can be a pain in the bum HOWEVER this amazing illamasqua lipstick does NOT stick or cling to them dry patches but it makes my lips look smoother and flawless, hmm amazing!

I can't believe I didn't find this sooner, the wear time is a good six hours or more! I never have to top up which is a BONUS! A red that has a statement to it. For £16.50 you can't really argue because the quality and everything about this lipstick is spot on! Definitely going to go back for more shades of these lipsticks.

The red lipsticks sister, Touch intense lipgloss! I have been trying to find the perfect lipstick/lipgloss duo for months and months and not really come across one UNTIL.. Illamasqua shown me there new red lipgloss. I said "yes" to the lady before she even swatched it and told me about it. I knew.. It was actually love at first sight!

You may of read in my previous posts, I am fuzzy with lip gloss's! They can't be too shiny, too sticky, too clear or to shimmery. This "Touch" red lipgloss with a fine shimmer is the perfect red gloss ever. I am not over exaggerating, it literally is perfect. It has pigment, fine shimmer, not sticky at all or doesn't give your overly shiny lips. It ticks all the boxes for me and its red!

The colour is slightly more of a orange undertone but that doesn't stop me, when wearing it on top of "Maneater" is such delicious combination! When applied it finish's the look and gives your lips that look of fullness. It is thick but the texture is non-sticky but I prefer, you only need a little bit because it is so intense. Also it blends easy and stays on for such a long time. Considering it is a gloss, it is so long wearing, so I am really impressed!

Have you tried Illamasqua's lip products, because I think you should!
