Chanel - Soleil Tan De Chanel - Universal Bronzer Makeup Base ♥

| On :
I am a really big fan of Chanel, every product I have bought from Chanel as been really good and just done exactly what I want it to do. You can't really fault Chanel to be honest since the price of the products, they are not allowed to fault haha! I love everything about Chanel, the logo, the packaging and the quality they put in their makeup.

Tonight I am going to write about the Universal Bronzer, it looks delicious! I have tried it before in the past and now I finally bought it. It took a while to buy just because of the price. It cost me £31.50! Ah well it is worth it I think.

This product as two names, it is known has Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base or Universal Bronzer. I prefer to call it Universal Bronzer, because it as a better flow to it. Anyways my lovelies, a bit more about the product. It is a tricky product to to work with and had people ask me how you use it.

It is a creamy-mousse texture bronzer that suits all skin types, skin tones and can be used to either as a base, bronzer or to wear instead of a foundation, I have also noticed you can use it to contour if you like. Depending on your skin tone, depends on how much to want to apply. The finish is quite matte but really nice and does give a radiant glow considering it is matte. You can see very subtle shimmer and shine in the light which I thought is quite impressive, because I do love some shimmer on my face!

I was quite worried to use this, just because of the fact it is a cream product. Usually I don't like cream products on my makeup because it never seems to go right but this product works wonders and sits on my makeup really well! You can make it look so natural looking like a bronzer powder! This product looks so nice like you have been in the sun for a couple of days and caught a natural tan without looking orange hmm perfect right? A buffing brush or kabuki brush is probably the best for application.

I would recommend this product to everyone and every age, definitely universal in my eyes. Just a little pricey! If you were to buy it online it only lets you buy one per customer which I think is a bit mean! You can buy this at any Chanel counter near you! I got mine from Harvey Nichols in Manchester.

Q&A ♥

| On :
Question and Answer blog part two, so many questions but could only pick a few, maybe next time. I might do it like a monthly thing, not quite sure because don't want to do to many but here goes, you may know me a bit better after these and some of the questions I got this time were quite peculiar. Anyway here goes..

Question One; by emilydenner on instagram.
Do you like One Direction?
I had to answer this and I may lose followers from this but just to get it out there, I really dislike them and plus I think they are kind of over-rated, there music isn't what I really listen to anyway. Sorry girls but I'm definitely not their biggest fan haha

Question Two; by asdfghjklpoppy on instagram.
What inspired you to start a theme?
Nothing inspired me really to do a theme, it just sort of happened. When I started instagram, I didn't really see any themed accounts and I love showing reviews on makeup and things like that, just did it off my own back really and thought ay lets make a makeup account haha!

Question Three; by rubymae_x on instagram.
If you could only buy clothes from one store what shop would you chose?
Oh mmm, you know what probably Riverisland possibly, just because I do prefer their clothes to other stores and they have really nice shoes and handbags, but then again I found a cute little boutique near my house which I really like recently, so this is a difficult question to answer!

Question Four; by georgiarosex on instagram.
What is your dream career?
Well I don't know what I fully want to do yet, but I would love a career in either blogging in magazines sort of journalist side for beauty and makeup but deep down I have always wanted to something that involves biology or healthcare about the body. I studied Anatomy and Physiology in college along side Beauty Therapy and thats when I realised I love learning about the body and so I have always wanted to pursue a career that involves health needs or to study the body. GEEK alert!

Question Five; by blue_manq0s on instagram.
What type of olive would you be; a green one or a black one?
This question made me giggle just because it is so random! But unfortunately I hate olives, the texture and taste just eurgh! If I was to be an olive I would be a green, just because I have been told they taste nicer. Yuck!

Question Six; by maddyslittleworld on instagram.
If you could only use three makeup products, what would they be?
I knew the answer as soon as you asked, I would definitely have Chanel's waterproof mascara in black because makes your eyelashes look ahhhh-mazing. I would need my eyebrows haha, MAC's eyeshadow in espresso and then a good colour blusher/bronzer for my cheeks!

Question Seven; by theperkofbeingrachx on instagram.
Most repurchased beauty item?
I don't really know, probably would be Benefit's They're Real mascara, think I have bought it three times. Can you blame me? It's such a good product!

Question Eight; by flouwacy on instagram.
Favourite/most used perfume?
BRONZE GODDESS by Estee Lauder. my absolute favourite by far. The summer coconut smell is perfection. It is such a shame it only comes out in summer because by winter I have finished it! Then again Sensuous Nude by Estee Lauder is as close as your going to get, because that one has coconut too. Mmm lovely

Thank you for all your questions! Sorry I didn't answer yours, there is always a next time! Mwah

Clinique Chubby Stick - Original & Intense ♥

| On :
There's nothing wrong with having some chubby on your lips. So today I am going to talk about these beautiful silky lip products by Clinique. I think the product name "Chubby Sticks" is catchy, the colours are perfection and the packaging is pretty. These are the little beauts.

So theres the cute pink one which is "Curvy Candy" and this is a normal chubby stick and then theres "Heftiest Hibiscus" which is a gorgeous coral-red and its an intense version, which has a lot more pigment.

Sorry about the look of the Chubby Sticks, they have been used and also I don't know why one has ended up pointy and one is round, must be the way I apply them haha

I'l start with Curvy Candy. It is a lovely sheer pink coloured lipstick but with a lipbalm texture. It is very moisturising on the lips and the colour stays true throughout the day. Even when you eat and drink, the colour stays on and your lips stay silky soft. I love natural lips and this is definitely a natural product to have in your makeup bag. The good thing about these is that you can build up the colour to how you want it.

Next up is Heftiest Hibiscus. This is part of the Chubby Stick Intense collection, just means that they have alot more pigment like a lipstick but it still is a lipbalm. Again it has very good moisturising benefits, especially if you have dry lips. If I wear a lipstick with dry lips, it looks horrible and it bleeds, but with the chubby sticks its like a skincare but makeup in one. This colour is quite fluorescent and bright and looks gorgeous in the summer.

The packaging is like a big pen, easy to carry & sturdy. You twizzle it up and down to get the product out and in. I have dropped this quite a lot, clumsy me & it has not broke or anything which is probably the most important thing with products! You get a good amount of product and because it is long-wearing, it lasts you such a long time.

I would definitely recommend both types of Chubby Sticks and every single shade to everyone. You can buy these at £17 at any Clinique counter or on their own website.

Estee Lauder Blush - Peach Passion ♥

| On :
Another golden luxury product. Well this is an Estee Lauder Pure Colour Blush in "Peach Passion". I instantly fell in love with this blush, probably one of my favourites! It is such a pretty peachy blush but not to girly. Can wear it any occassion, anywhere and any season. Most girls would wear this colour because it is adaptable to everyone. No matter what makeup you wear whether it is natural or dramatic or somewhere in between, this blush would finish each look. I think everyone needs a peachy colour blush somewhere in their makeup bag.

Peach Passion is a shimmer blush, with a little hint of peach and a gold sheen. In my opinion I think this blusher makes every natural makeup look radiant and glowing. It is a simple shade, the powder is soft and silky on the skin and quite easy to blend, also you can build it up to the intensity you want. It lasts a good few hours which is a bonus for me.

The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! As you probably all know I love gold packaging I love the simplicity and the luxury look it has. The casing is sturdy and if you was to drop it, your blusher is kept safe from smashing I believe. You get such a good amount of blush, which I think is fab. You also get a mini brush, as it is good quality, it doesn't pick a alot of product up on the brush for me.

It costs £24, you can buy it pretty much anywhere now at an Estee Lauder counter or on the website. I would recommend this blusher just because the colour is beautiful and if your not sure what shade blush to go for, definitely try this colour first.

Stila - "Convertible Colour" Dual Lip & Cheek Cream ♥

| On :
Hello lovelies! Thought I would write a review about the Stila Convertible Colour Dual Lip & Cheek Creams. I have to two of them because thought I would treat myself! I have been eyeing these products up recently and having a play with them in work! So finally purchased them a few weeks ago.

So these lovely convertible products are made to give you a pretty flush of colour on your lips and cheeks! I personally only use them mostly on the cheeks, especially these colours I bought but I do want the whole range! It is a 2 in 1 sheer tint product.

I bought "Fuchsia" & "Gladiola", quite unusual names! Totally opposite in colours. These are creamy and quite pigmented but when applied it is sheer and blends in perfectly as a blush and is moisturising and long lasting on the lips! At the moment I like wearing more of a natural look so these really suit me.

Quick and easy to apply, if your using it has a blush. Just put some on your fingers and gently pat some on your cheeks and then you can carry on using your fingers or you can use a foundation brush or a stippling brush, in my case I use the Real Techniques Expert Brush and gently blend it into your cheeks.

I love "Gladiola" because it is part of my coral collection, bright orange and it suits my skin tone! "Fuchsia" is growing on me but just slightly too bright pink for my skin tone but I think in summer it looks fab!

The packaging is cute and lightweight, easy to carry around! Pretty floral design on the front that is eye catching. Also comes with a compact mirror so you can use on the go. It costs £16 which I think is such a good price and it is such good quality! I would definitely recommend these to everyone!

Stila - "In The Garden" Eyeshadow Palette ♥

| On :
It's been a Stila fulfilled day and alot of blogs lucky lucky, well I am going to do a review about the Stila Eyeshadow Palette called "In The Garden", just to say it is lovely and quite different to the other Stila palettes, I have previously wrote about the Stila "In The Light" Palette which you can review here

Sorry about the lighting in these photos, my room was extremely bright

The review on this palette will be pretty much the same as the "In The Light" palette. It is a gorgeous palette and the colours are just super gorgeous. Words can't really describe this lovely palette! Each eyeshadow is unique, long lasting and highly pigmented. The texture is ultra soft and very blendable!

All these shades are soft, dainty colours! Again you can make an everyday look with these and then make turn them into a dramatic night time look. The shades would suit every skintone and everyone I think.

Not only do you get 10 eyeshadows, you get a waterproof smudgestick in the shade "Starfish", I love these smudgesticks, just because they are so versatile and you can do whatever you want with it, how you want it. Also you get a cute little booklet to show you different eye looks and how to do it as well.

"In The Light" palette as a mirror and this palette doesn't but this palette as the shade names displayed underneath the eyeshadows and "In The Light" had them written on the back. So I think they changed the packaging slightly. Now I have these two, I may have to purchase "In The Moment" palette now which would be interesting as I don't really wear them colours but there is always room to experiment!

This palette is the same price, £25.00, if you like neutral colours but like to add a bit more colour here and there, then this is a purchase you have to make.

Stila - "Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick" ♥

| On :
As you may all know, I am a lipstick addict, so I want to tell you my new favourite lip products! They are from Stila and it is called "Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick". Stila is a brand I am currently loving at the moment! So their liquid lipsticks, I hear you ask why are they so amazing? I'll tell you..

These lovely products is a creamy matte, definitely full coverage lip colour! It is also definitely a long-lasting colour and stays in place all day, it does what it says! Which I am very impressed about! The texture is lush and doesn't feel like you have any product on your lips. I have been looking for a lipstick that doesn't bleed and this product does NOT bleed or transfer, perfect!

I can not express how amazing the pigment is in these lipsticks, and so lovely and bold! The colour you see in the tube is exactly the same colour that you will get on your lips. If you love dramatic and you love bright colour lips, then I suggest you buy these! You will not be disappointed!

The colours I have are, "Fiore" which is a very bright pink! "Carina" which is a gorgeous bright coral-orange and then "Bellissima" which is a nude pink! All the shades are original different and you can fall in love with all of them!

The product when applied starts of creamy and then quickly dries to an a very matte finish! I love matte lipsticks The formula is thick enough that only one coat application does the trick, which is really good because then your product will last longer. Just to let you know it is NOT a stain.

So thought I would do a test and see if it Stays All Day! & the answer is YES! A very big yes, I ate and drank all day without having to top up, it stayed on as if I reapplied it throughout the day, the colour stays very true and vibrant all day! What other lipstick does this? By the end of the day you need a good makeup remover to fully remove the product which does show that it is good staying power.

For £15.00, it is definitely worth it! Definitely recommend to everyone
