Summer Favourites ♥

| On :
Thought I would do a twist and do a favourite summer products post and just make it quite simple and summery!

To be quite honest if you live in england then you probably know that summer this year hasn't been.. well summery and bright, we have had our hot and lovely days here and there but I could of done with more of them, well anyway this post is going to be about my favourite summer products and you might see in the pictures below it is all coral, because I think coral in the sun is such a beautiful colour, it makes us look glowing, radiant and bright!

In that little beautiful makeup mess you can see that I adore;
Coralista Blush by Benefit
Cha Cha Tint by Benefit
Hot Coral Nail Varnish by Estee Lauder
Vegas Volt Lipstick by MAC
Chanel Waterproof Mascara by Chanel
Face & Body Foundation by MAC
Mineralise Skin Finish Natural by MAC

You are probably wondering why these products Ashleigh?

Coralista Blush and Cha Cha Tint by Benefit are in my previous blog posts so if you want more information just pop below and have a read so I won't go in much detail! But the reason I LOVE these in summer is because of their colour! Coral can never go wrong in the summer, the pigment in these products are amazing and they definitely give such a glowing look on the skin and when the sun hits it, it looks double amazing!

Hot Coral Nail Varnish by Estee Lauder is beautiful, the best thing about it is that it dries on the nails so so quick, thats a good thing when you need a quick paint in a rush to go out! The colour again is a coral, it suits any skin tone but I think if you have a slight tan or deeper complexion it definitely brings the colour out in the sun! You have to love bright nails

Moving onto the MAC products, I will start with Face & Body Foundation the reason I picked this foundation for the summer weather is because if you want to a little bit of coverage then this is a good foundation, it isn't thick or heavy on the skin. Gives you that coverage you want lightly. It's nice in the summer, looks natural and healthy.

The next MAC product is the Mineralise Skin Finish Natural, I used this has a powder foundation/bronzer instead of wearing a liquid foundation! I mainly used this when I went on holiday just because it stayed on and didn't look heavy or melt off like liquid one could do. It's light coverage so it does look very natural on the skin, but lovely to add abit of colour to your skin. I have wrote about these to products in more information, just click may on the right and it's in there

Last but not least MAC product is one of my favourite lipsticks! Vegas Volt oooo this is gorgeous, long lasting and just a perfect glossy finish, perfect for summer!

& theres the Chanel Waterproof Mascara which again previously wrote more information in my previous blog post! You can't go wrong with a waterproof mascara in the summer, it's a must have! It doesn't smudge, doesn't wear off and it makes your eyelashes look fab and long!

I would recommend every single product for summer that I have mentioned! Absoloutely love them all!

Maybelline Baby Lips "Pink Punch" Moisturising Lip Balm ♥

| On :
So I finally did it, I purchased the craze of the Baby Lips by Maybelline. Everywhere I look these are there, its madness! I only bought one for now til' payday just so I know that they are a good product and not just buying it for the hype! I purchased "Pink Punch" which has been the mostly recommended scent and shade.

When I was just buying the one, it was so hard to pick which one, they are looked amazing and colourful!

I'm going to talk about the scent first of all, "Pink Punch" is gorgeous! It is strong as well and as soon as you take the lid off it just smells amazing. Once you apply the scent does fade, good thing that I do like it isn't flavoured as some lip balms that are scented you can taste it too!

The lip balms are tinted slightly, I bought "Pink Punch" because I was told it was more pigmented. It is really pretty and quite bright considering it is a lip tint. What I have noticed is that the colour fades after an hour so but for £2.99 I think this product is really good!

When you apply the lip balm it feels lovely and soft! It feels moisturising and silky, does not feel waxy or sticky at all which I am really happy about. No greasy feel to it as well. It has a slight glossy shine to the finish which is really pretty. Maybelline have used "Baby Lips" name because apparently it gives you them baby soft lips but with this lip balm been on for a few hours I do feel like I need to scrub and clean my lips. For them baby soft lips you have to reapply probably few times a day to get what you want. But for £2.99 can't really fault the price, you get what you paid for but overall I do like this product apart from it doesn't last very long.

The packaging I think looks quite young, and would attract the younger people rather than young adults onwards. Reminds me of something you would get in a child's magazine or something although it is cute and bright which can be eye catching especially for me, I have a weakness to cute and bright packaging!

Hervana Blush by Benefit ♥

| On :
Here's another little pretty box by Benefit! I am obsessed with these boxed blush's just because they are so pretty and eye catching. Hervana blush was quite raved about product that I was told.

Hervana is a blush that as four different colours that you blend together to make a perfect pretty pink! Swirls of lovelyness four shades are called "Lucky Shell", "Divine Peach", "Heavenly Rose" and "Berry Delight".

This blush smells absolutely gorgeous such a light floral scent that isn't overpowering, definitely fits the blush.

Hervana is a beautiful blend of colour, it is so wearable for most skin tones and it is a very natural everyday blush I would say, because it isn't overly pigmented! It gives a healthy looking flush of colour on the cheeks! Very easy to blend and also you can build the intensity of colour you want.

This blush is not that long lasting on my skin but it's not that bad. The texture of this blush is ultra soft that I love! It comes with a gorgeous little blush that is so easy to bring around with you to top up your cheeks! The packaging and name is gorgeous and original!

It is £23.50 to purchase from any Benefit counter! I would say it's a must for your makeup collection, what do you think?
